The dealership's o-ring kit was an exact fit. The o-rings I had gotten from Rock Auto were 2 out of 3 correct size.
As I was dipping the larger of the internal o-rings into a bottle of oil, I thought it would suck if it slipped out of my fingers into the bottle. Then it totally did. I dumped it into a pan and then re-bottled it. I only lost a couple of ounces. All in all, it went smoothly and my oil filter is no longer dripping onto my transmission lines and starter.

Trying to figure out where to put my HiLift. I ordered a 48" since my tire carrier has a mount for it behind the spare (horizontal mount). Problem is they shipped me a 60", it's a shame to cut it down but it's too long to go across the back. Anyone have a rain gutter mount solution?

Stock roof rack. Between the bike rack and the kayak carrier my roof is pretty full. A basket wouldn't make sense. Trying to come up with a removable gutter mount setup.

Yesterday finished my IRO BPE install. much better than those cheap bar pins, plus an extra inch of down travel.

You could put two of these on and use a bolt and nut to attach the hi lift. Either that or if you can spare maybe 6 inches on the roof bars, drill a hole through and run a bolt through

Make some gutter mounts with a flat top and a bolt through it to mount to the gutter. Ain't difficult. I say stock roof rack.

That's what I was planning but my concern is the weight. Most gutter mounts work because there is one on each side and a bar connecting the two to spread the load. The setup I'm trying to come up with will have the whole weight of the jack sitting on the lip of one rain gutter. I guess I'll build it and see what happens.
