What did you do to your Cherokee today?
well...some might want to shoot me for this.
im taking my full width axles out and putting the stock ones back in, and also going from 37's back down to 35's. taking 2'' of lift off.
my xj is becoming a pavment princess!!
i have a secret build going on and i dont think i need two rock crawlers....so the xj is getting downsized.
build thread of secret build to come in a few weeks.............stay tuned.

I hit the u pull it today..
Finally found some decent seats for a 2 door xj, they fold forward, so the kid can get in easier now.. Shes stoked.. So got them in. The po had 4 door seats in< wtf? Tried to put in the front recovery hooks i scored there too. But on my 85 i have to drop the bumper to get them on. Ran out of daylight. Bummer. I also had a great idea, I didnt have a big torx bit so i couldn't take the doors with me. But next week im grabbing new doors off the 2 door i found. Gonna paint them up, and hopefully have windows for the winter. I love my rag top, but burrr...
Replaced the broken left rear quarter panel glass in the 89 yesterday. Went to Pull A Part today and picked up a replacement fuel line for the the 91, hatch struts for the 89, and a factory tcase skid plate. Not sure which XJ will get the skid plate yet.
the seats in my 4 door don't lean forward or back, they are just stuck sticking pretty much straight up. It kind of annoyed me when I first got it but now I have kind of gotten use to it.
took the new bought XJ to hollister sunday. broke the 1 inch blocks i had on and just decided to remove them completely. almsot put it on its side if it werent for my buddy jumpin on it to counter the weight.. i got some pics for ya. found out that my shocks limit me way too much so i need to upgrade to longer ones.

Had a great day at the u-pull. Scored a rear hatch interior panel, spare tire and jack, overhead sound bar, and cruise control. I just love the cruise on these older ones, literally took 5 minutes to install and it works perfectly!

DANG....why in the world is it doing that?
