What did you do to your Cherokee today?
set teh e-brake, put it in 4wd, and locked it up tight... Had some suspicious people pull in our driveway with a flatbed trailer, they sat there for like 5 mins... Not gonna take any chances...

Wow they pulled a flatbed trailer in your driveway? I woulda had to go out and ask them what they were doing after about 2 minutes sitting there. I can understand parking in front, maybe looking up directions....but if they pulled in the driveway...

for me today, just used it to haul about 25 quarts of old oil to autozone haha, and i jump started my dads 77 arrow with it. i pulled it out of storage today after sitting for 2 years straight, aired up his flat tires and washed it for him and then he got it running..took some pictures of my jeep with it too..take a look!

its a fun car! just a 4 banger and the carb is in need of a rebuild, it wont idle. were gonna work on it again sometime and get it road worthy and then take it to some shows. he bought it brand new in 77

...Is when you work on the Jeep because you can, not because you have to!
I got the Front Skidplate, 4 Tow hooks, Recovery Point/Bumper Brackets at the bone-yard for $40. I spent about an hour to get the parts cleaned off with a grinder and wire cup to clean them off, inspect for cracks and be ready for paint.
I wiped them all down with grease/wax remover, Pained them with RustOleum Epoxy Appliance Spray paint that has a rust converter/inhibitor, baked them in the kitchen oven @ 100 degrees so thew would be cured by the time I had the bumper off... (Mental note, watch the yard sales for a cheap oven to put in the garage so the girlfriend does not react like an angry Boble-head the next time I pull this stunt!)
Also painted the bumper, corner caps and grill while I was at it. What a mistake! Makes the rest of the rig stand out...
Plan to use the extra hooks in the back when I figure out how I want to attach them to the Class 3 Receiver. For now I just have a hook welded to a removable ball mount.
All and all about 2/3 of a day spent "Playing in the Man Cave".
I also figured out that you don't need to waste your time raking the yard every time your Neighbors leaves blow in and cover it back up... Just spend the day with your garage door up and it acts like a
Vacuum!

I'm not a patient kind of guy, Baking the painted parts @ 100 cures them up in about an hour so you can start handeling them. It's down near freezing these days and if I waited for air drying it may be Spring again.

Installed RC3" lift. Added ION series 171 15x8's and BFG 31x10.5 AT's...More work to come now getting a little drive line noise and some lite rubbing on bumper trim up front. Going to start cutting away at it tomorrow. Better photos to come.
