I made an appointment with my local offroad automotive shop to have the new RC 4.5" LA kit installed! Yeah, I know...I should try to do it myself but I really don't have the time right now and I finally talked the wife into letting me spend the money. $1600 installed and that is with new spring packs not AAL's.

Forgot to post what I did on Friday, Sunday, and yesterday (Monday). On Friday I took out all of my spark plugs, gapped and cleaned them, and after I took them out I found out that they really needed it. On Sunday I cleaned the battery posts with coke, and got them really clean. On Monday I modified a 55 watt foglight with a bracket, and mounted it to the back of the Jeep onto the side of my trailer hitch, and wired it up with the reverse light, because we all know that Jeeps don't offer the best lighting when backing up from the factory! I will post some pictures of my new light in a few hours when I get home!

had the fun of getting chocolate out of light tan carpet since my kids stepped on a warm hershey kiss and ground it into my factory floor mats.
also, started the initial day of soaking the bolts to put a lift in. i will spray everything down everyday for a week and then hopefully get the 2" lift on saturday at the autocraft shop on base, in the heated garage
alo, added a half a quart of oil and found out my rear hatch doesn't close all the way on one side

Today I cracked my fender flare a little bit smashing through a snow bank, but I planned on removing them anyway. Also, I almost lost control because my back end slid out and when I went to correct it, the front end slid too because my front sway bar end links are broken so there is major body roll and it's slippery out. Then I put on my chrome bendy mirrors with the springs because my mirrors were busted up and missing glass.

found out that the 4th cylinder on the brand new motor is shot. called in for the warranty getting a new motor sent to me.. get to swap it all over again yay...
I also used some aftermarket HD mounts, so they were a little differently sized it seemed.
The way I did it was I broke loose the through bolt, then put a jack under the oil pan (don't forget the 2X4 between the jack and oil pan) and jacked it up untill I could move the through bolt by hand. took the through bolt out, removed the two bolts for the mount, took the mount out, put the new one in. That's where it got interesting, the new mounts were about half an inch higher than the old ones, and the motor just did not want to go that high, it took lots of jacking, a ratched strap, a hammer, a pry bar, jumping on the bumper, it was rediculous. I firmly believe it would have been a lot easier with a jack that went higher than 19 inches.
With all of that said, make sure you have a dang good jack, one that can lift at least 3 tons, and that can go at least 25 inches...
