Finally upgraded my headlight wire harness with the Putco kit and installed the Hella E-code H4 60/55W conversion system. They've been sitting in my room since November, just waiting for me to have a free weekend when it's warm. Yeah, it took this long! Anyway, the difference is amazing! I see every road reflector in the area and they all look like they're a powered lamp or something! Definitely worth the upgrade and pretty easy to install. I think I may do this on the 2WD Jeep, too, although I probably won't get the E-code headlamps for it.

realized that in less than a month i have yet another long road trip that is 600ish miles each way so i patted her apologetically and got to thinking if an injector swap would be worth it on my tight budget.

Started her up for the first time after replacing cracked head. It helped when I remembered to reconnect ignition coil..... Coolant leak from thermostat housing, so I'll replace that, the thermostat, and gasket tomorrow. Then hopefully it's off for a test drive in the snow!
