RCs double shear isn't bad, my dad has one. The bracket is odd, it has a part that sticks out toward the coil and pushes the coil out a bit. Also, like said, it does lower the mount a lot. But he had a drop pitman on anyways.

If you know popular opinions than you should've known Iron Rocks Double shear if the "go to" option.

I have had no issues with the RC equipment I have. I wheel harder than some, lighter than others and it has served me well. There was a good bit of complaining a while back about the bushings and flex joints that came with RC lifts and since then they have changed manufacturers. Their only real shortcoming (pun intended) is that the rear leaf packs are too short. Most of the RC bashing is done by people who don't have it. Not that I'm saying that everyone who does is perfectly satisfied.
