Watched my hopes of 31" tires fade away... spent too much of the tax return money on other things and still have repair needs that need to be met on the wife's jeep...
sucks too because I found a sweet set of duratracs on CL for 600 bucks - barely used set of 4 and a spare that's never been on the ground...
oh well... I also found a NP242 still mated to a 42RE out of a 01 WJ - thought about snagging it for my 4wd swap, but I'm not sure if the 242 is going to work on an older AW4... but if all goes according to plan I'll have AT LEAST a tranny and transfer case tomorrow - hopefully I'll have driveshafts and an axle too, but I'll settle for at least the tranny and TC
