Went wheeling a little today. Trying to see what I really need after wheeling it stock. It just won't get stuck....

Replaced the stock 90amp alternator with a 136amp from a dodge..

 

Put on 1.25 spacers for my wheels so I could clear my new lift. Rear srings were rubbing the tires.

 

i just got back from a 250 mile road trip and the jeep did great!! drove seperate cause me and the gf came home a day early. heres a couple pics..kamp dels in minnesota.

also, today before we left, went to get some firewood and passed this dealership..had an 01 2 door xj with the AW4 exactly like mine came besides being an auto!











also found this 93 with 3" of lift and 31s..both in great shape!



all in all, great weekend!!

 

nothing i have been out of town for two weeks working.(Is it bad to miss your jeep as much as your wife?)

 

Installed my aussie locker this weekend

 

Finished cutting and welding the angles on the rear bumper. Now to finish the mounting braces and get everything welded and coated with bedliner.



Also opened up the ends of the unirails for the mounts.

just a simple oil change this time, and replaced a couple of dash bulbs.

 

Finally mounted the prerunner bumper on the 99 and will be putting the winch on soon

 

started welding together a front bumper.

 

made a new crossmember for my long arms on labor day. finished paint today

 

i had the R12 fittings converted to R134A.

 

31s on.



doesnt look to bad at all..the tires are quiet and i have more power hahaha. now to decide should i keep the 33s for offroad or 34s? which should be my winter tires?

all the tires = upset parents hahaha
