Great year! I've got 2 of them. Both black, too. Except your paint is much better than mine were. Mine were balding! But I see at least your front end was painted. The big hint was the debadging up front. What else do you know about it? Manufacture date? D35 or C8.25?

If its a 96 odds are a chryco 825, but I can't remember if its 96 or 97 where they became 29 splined shafts instead of 27 ( all the cf vets can now correct my numbers) lol

Non-ABS is probably a C8.25, ABS is a D35 for sure. Late-year models MIGHT have a 29-spline, but it's debatable what defines a "late-year model".

Also, ABS means D35, but non-ABS doesn't even suggest C8.25. It's still a toss up between both axles (and the D44 in certain older models) because both were used extensively without ABS.
