I didn't find all the hidden wiring til I came home, drove it 800 miles to my new duty station, and tried to troubleshoot a short that was blowing a fuse.

ok cool. i got a good friend who's been in Germany for a few months now on a 3 year leave. before he left, we put toyota axles under his sammi on 36's. he never got to drive it before he left so it's gonna sit in the yard till he gets back.

Nice job, I was thinking about doing this down the road while I was fixin my speaker wire last week.[/QUOTE]

Thanks...left my speaker wires out of the harness. Looking for an additional sound bar to place behind the front seats. Will run those up the pillars to the headliner and connect there. Anyone have a soundbar they are willing to part with? Been searching the local JY and haven't found one yet...

Get to work and suspected something happened so I pulled my Jeep on the ramps and found the one the bands holding the gas tank in place broke. Thank God for bungie cords.

Thats ok, you shoulda seen mine after I bought it....PO wrecked the things he "improved" on...by far the worst is the cut and fold on the fenders(which I have yet to fix) that look like a 2 year old with scissors did them... right through the pinch seam on the back, no fold there, just a cut, and a **** poor job on the front where he tried to hammer the metal under to round it out.
and don't get me started on the wiring....

Ditched the blingy braided stainless throttle cable because it was binding and put an OEM cable on. Ahhh.....smooth.

taking 3m leather repair kit to my WJ seats swap-ins. Hope the product turns out decent. Also pulled seat cover and wrapped foam in towel and stuck with 3m spray on glue to restore where the side bolster was sagging.

Ordered 62mm throttle body bore for my junkyard pick, I'll ship it out tomorrow. Ordered a ZJ shifter, they are bigger. I know its not a huge difference, but.. why not?
