Got stopped by the cops for a plate light. Bulb and fuse were good. Wire was dead all the way to the tail light. Did not want to look for the bad wire beyond the tail light. Spliced in new wires from the tail lights and now it is good to go.

 

Went out to work on it, and the extension cord for the welder was no where to be found. The guys that owns the shop I'm working at took it to work with him, so I couldn't do what I needed to do. My friend and I decide to go to Rock Bottom Brewery and toss a few back. We ordered one normal beer, and this:

It's all good I still have the cat, just no muffler. I'm not the typical inconsiderate bad*** who straight pipes it from the header back. I like scaring the ricers when they cut me off when they "merge" onto the highway. Nothing like seeing their face as I blow by their gaudy *** rides with their fart cans wailing like they're standing still. Plus I like the way it sounds. LOUD

 

i have been pulled over in my jeep for that and my buddy i think if you drive a xj and your plate light goes out they pull you over but if you were to be driving idk a ford taurus or chevy lumina they would not i think they are out to get us!

Getting the oil changed and having the U-Joints checked out. Waiting to see if that's the reason for the clunking noise.

Started making the sub box to sink in the rear cubby hole panel last night. I will get some pics up tonight. Took the camera to the basement with me but the batteries were dead

 

Got my tires and wheels installed!

 

cut my doors in to half doors and re located the door handle. It looks sick and when im done bondoing it i will post pics of the process and the finished.

 

Got my Jeep back tonight. I had the u-joints checked, but they're okay. But they found a valve cover gasket leak and my transmission was leaking. Also had the oil changed. Cost me $250.

 

changed u joints front and rear. no more mysterious clunking when i let off the clutch going into 2nd. SUCCESS!!!

 

changed redmucks oil and filter and found his oil pan bolts were kinda loose. had to tighten every one from a quarter turn to a full turn,and a bit more. also found that my track bar bushing is bad and a few others under there too. oh air filter was changed too.

 

I picked up a hydroboost brake system at the jy from a gmc safari van that will goo in the cherokee screw this not stopping crap!!!! i want to stop NOW. lol will let you know how it turns out
