Nice Tim! Glad you got it figured out....keep that F body away from salt. I did my water pump a few weeks ago and hadnt driven it besides trails and it seems my pretty new t.stat is stuck open now. barely any heat, gauge hardly comes off the stop. If i light a Bic, the amount of heat in the Jeep doubles lol.

Finally got inspected and got an alignment after working on it for weeks. Now I'm having the coolant flushed since for some reason it looks like there's mud in the overflow tank, not sure how that got there

It's not actually mud, that's what happens to the rad fluid, seals, hoses, and internal bits as they wear over time. Some of it is going to be rust from the fins of the water pump, for example.

Put gas in her finally and for anyone that live in ny, you know that's an accomplishment right now. Been driving around with 3-4 gals for a week now getting gas here and there. Drives so heavy now.

Tomorrow morning will do new battery clamp, fix headlight wire and chane idler pulley. Next weekend will do gatorback belt

Awesome deal! You know that the JKs have a different bolt pattern from XJs, right? Do you have spacers to adapt the 5x5" to 5x4.5"?

Yeah I know, found out the hard way with my last xj. Guy sold me rock crawler rims said it would fit my jeep. Nope. But anyway I got adapters in the mail
