Had a funny squeak coming from under the jeep, finally found a worn bushing... nothing major as it isn't really in bad shape, just making noise. I guess we wouldn't know that we were alright if we weren't making noise right? Anyway, flushed radiator and changed the intake/exhaust gasket... Still has a leak, exhaust manifold has a big crack in it
. Oh well, always something! It deserves to have a few issues after all it has been through. Will probably crawl under it and change the Castrol as it is near time for it. I switched to Mopar filters a while back and have been very impressed with what I have found. Jeep On!!!!

I think the 2-piece lug nuts came from the factory. It was missing 1 when I bought the Jeep, then it was missing 2 after I had the tires rotated. After I hit the curb and had 2 tires replaced, I was missing a couple more. I'm missing at least 4. So I ordered some solid lug nuts to replace the cheapo 2-piece junk.

worked on the P.O.S. for 8 hours today. changed spark plugs, cap and rotor (easy part) but then put the new pads on, to find a cracked piston in my caliper. went to autozone, bought new ones, put them on, but forgot that all the brake fluid drained out, so filled it up, found out i had no brakes. so for the next 6 hours, flushed, bleeded, and re bleeded the damn brake system. went through a quart of brake fluid, and talked to a mechanic who said lift up the rear cause the master cilinder had a bubble in it, well i drove up backwards on a dump truck, the back was lifted about 4 feet off the ground. maybe 5. didnt work. flushed it again, cursed, punched the roof, and drove home on this rainy night with just the ebrake and 4wd...
Ordered a 3 inch lift from rusty's. Got here yesterday. Gonna install it next week. Replace the transmission and throttle ppsiton sensor. Will mount up my new wheels also next week once the lift is on.

You will probably get 10 responses to go buy some speed bleaders but my advice is go get yourself a $35 hand vacuum pump. You can bleed your brakes very easily & by yourself. Don't buy the cheap $10 "one man bleeder" crap...get the vac pump with all the fittings and you will get those brakes bled the right way.
