Today I started sanding down spare taillights to redo the tint.
Yesterday I got the front of the parts jeep off and started cutting into the inner fender. I decided to drill the spot welds and get the rest of the damaged panel off my 91. Then do the same to the donor panel. That way it goes in like factory would with some overlap.

Picked up the last items to do my head gasket, not even going to paint anything yet just going to get it on before winter then next spring pull it off and do the paint.
well i used my xj today to save a life. we had a medical responder call toned out, dispatch advised us of a man that fell off his 4wheeler and possibly broke his leg. they also told me that the man was located on the edge of a 'tater field. when i arrived on scene a neighbor directed me to where he believed the man to be. i put the xj in 4hi and drove through the field to where the man was located. once i got there i did my thing and EMS arrived. i splinted his leg and then we loaded him on a back-board. for all of ya'll that doesn't know what a back-board is, it is a body length board made of hard, dense plastic that we use to carry a person on. anywho, once we strapped him down to the board, i folded the seat down on my xj and we slid the man on the back-board in the back of my jeep. i then drove the jeep with the man and a medic in the back to the road where the ambulance was located. we then moved the man to the stretcher and to the ambulance.
it was an awesome moment for the xj. i was very proud that i could use the jeep for something like that. we could have carried the man out of the woods but that would have put him at risk for being dropped and it would've took alot longer. the jeep performed very very well.
i also took out my tstat today due to it causing problems and the jeep overheating because it wouldn't open up. so a new one is coming tuesday. also gotta replace the sending units because im pretty sure they are going bad to. might as well anyways.

Got an old Cobra 29 SoundTracker from a garage sale. It didn't work so the guy gave it for free. Need to find a place that can fix it, i think it's just the power plug or something close to it.

Got all the mud off from the last week of rain, so from here on out till spring I will have to pay to use the pressure washer to clean mud off.
Just taking a cig break before cleaning the winders and a quick vacuum on the drivers floor since I work in the dirt a lot likes to come home with me.
