Rtv works much better than a gasket in this case. It seals better.

Default going to the ghetto and not coming back

drove it 600 km with a bungee holding my muffler/exhaust up . fell off camping and hung about 1 1/2 ft low and was 8-10 inches or so from ground without ripping off . door locking mechanism broke , so i bungeed the front driver and rear doors together , to top it all off , i start my jeep with a wire from starter , and a wire from negative terminal due to ignition not working with a turn , so when in on position i hot wire it

Negative the lube locker gasket has silicone ribs in it that help it seal. Rtv is messy and uneven most of the time. Since I have switched all mine over I had not had one leak and they are reusable plus there is nothing to scrape off just wipe it down and reinstall it no fuss.
