also forgot to say i put new gear oil in the front diff.

 

Every base I've been to (Army) has a self-service auto shop stocked with lifts and tools. You pay a cheap hourly rate to use it ($4/hr here).

 

Same thing for the marines

 

I had a owner of a car wash come running out to me when i was pulling up one time and yell at me that i couldn't wash my jeep there and he was mad. I told him I was only there to throw some trash away and he needs to drop the attitude and learn not to assume things. He started cussing at me that i've clogged the drains up before and it cost him $, i had never been there before that day. Long story short he ended up apologizing to me when he figured out I was the guy who saved his house from burning down a few months before. Lol.

I dont go to car washes anymore.

What do u do dran some out and replace it with that...iam about due for a change here...I think I might just do that...

I take more pride in washing it by hand if I do wash it at all.

 

I got the alternator brushes replaced. Now she runs. bath time tomorrow

 

I do too but if its caked in mud about an inch thick, those pressure washers come in handy. Especially for the underside.

 

I'd be cautious with that. My friend used to do the same thing, the extra detergents can harm the pan/ clog

 

I bought a pressure washer for the 8 bucks in quarters I was spending at the car wash every time I wanted to play in the mud
