1" EMT. Going off homemade write up but add offroad light guard. Bought the pre-bent pieces today, going tomorrow to get 10' pieces. Going to use some clamps I found and also weld for strength. Planning a write up with cost break down...

I did mine with 1" EMT and two old gutter mount ladder racks. I can stand on it!

Looked at it with the hood up and the manual in my hands and thought, "what could possibly be wrong now" then drove home haha still runs but has a very rough idle sometimes. Think its the fuel filter

Emt racks are pretty damn solid, as good as the mounts are anyways. I built mine out of 3/4, no weld, with a light bar. Attached using the factory luggage rails.

Ripped it off on a tree branch last week. luggage rails ripped clean off the roof, and now Im stuck having to replace a couple bars in the rack, ordering the JCR gutter mounts and redesigning the mounting portion.

Moral of the story, think it through, and dont rush it like I did just cuz you want it on there, and if you take shortcut X itll get on the roof a day quicker.

and on topic, bought it a new trackbar with a lifetime warrantee. now ive replaced every steering linkage up front, with lifetime warranteed parts. bye bye death wobble

Found the new home brewed mods thread. I've missed it.

Also started my summer cold air intake. I'll get some pics up when I'm done. Just have to cut a 4" hole in the hood, no big deal.

Yesterday I got it stuck in the lake behind my house. Sunk in pretty deep.

Ended up using the winch on my other jeep to get it out.

I guess the battery went when it touch the water. Got a new one today. Ended up needing it because the po put one with not enough ccvs. Looked like it was for a motorcycle lol
