Received this for the XJ today:
Well I took advantage of the group buy going on over at NAXJA and picked up the VIAIR constant duty for $345 shipped! It arrived via FedEx today and hopefully I can start the install on Saturday.

cool compressor- cost almost as much as my entire XJ project.
I used the factory jack to hold the gas pedal down at 2k rpm while feeding ATF fluid into the brake booster vacuum line. Quite a smoke show out the tail pipe, but no joy. I was told to do this to clean up carbon in the cylinders and make it stop knocking. It did seem to quiet the engine some, but it still sounds like there is a rod knock or lifter noise or something I do not like.
Eff it though- I have been babying this thing too long, it's either going to get me to work everyday or die trying.

You can't link to images on your own machine if you expect others to see them (unless of course you were running a web server).
