Well that was bad karma. Just got pulled over for not having bumpers on the vehicle. Thankfully I only got a warning.

I think both will work for now, It is jury rigged beyond belief, I accidently push the power switch cause it is right next to my wiper switch. you know for the windshield wiper switch rigged threw the rear wiper switch.

well i discovered that i cannot work on my jeep in the apartment parking lot which makes me royally pissed. so then i drove up the mountain just outside of town to go play in the mud/snow/slush mixture that was up there. then i drove around with a dirty rig for awhile. thats my story

Yesterday and today were busy days. I installed a 3" skyjacker lift kit on my 96 cherokee. I installed 31" tires, i made a coldair intake, i bondo'd the rear driver fender from an accident, rattle can painted (accually found a perfect match paint at autozone for $5) i purchesed new lettering for the jeep. I have "JEEP" on the back hatch in the same location "4.0L" on the bowwom left of hatch "XJ" on bottom right. ON the front fender i replaced the cherokee sport with "MY XJ" all in chrome, modern letters. put in window rain guards and trucked lined the bottom 5" or so of the whole jeep. looks mean now. But damn am i tired...

Just find the metal piece that runs across behind your overhead light, drill and use self tapping screws. You will need longer screws than what comes with the rack anyway. You can drill into the plastic section in the back by your cargo light, I just used washers and nuts to make sure it doesn't pull out. Rods don't weigh much anyway.

I was bored after work, and didn't feel like going home. So I drove around for about an hour. While driving I saw a yellow 2000ish Jeep Wrangler that was nicely built up, on the side of the hood (where you would see the word RUBICON on Rubicon models), it said "Official H2 Recovery Vehicle". Made me laugh.

Then when I did get home, I left the Jeep running in neutral, and checked my transmission fluid.

And yesterday, when I started my Jeep, the odometer went away and said "no bus", and the check engine light came on. Then the odometer came back, the check engine light went away. Then the Airbag light went on for about 5 seconds, off for about 5 seconds, on again, then off again. Weird stuff...

the no bus thing is pretty common it happened to me a few times before a few swift knocks to my dash somehow seemed to stop it seeing as it has not happened again.

i tested the brakes in my xj today... i was going through a green light at 40 and a crotch rocket going the opposite way started to turn left in front of me, i locked em up all the way through the intersection and came about 6 inches from hitting him and his girlfriend who were at this point stopped in my lane. the guy then decided to flip ME off and pointed at the light, i had my window down and sunroof off so i started screaming at him all kind of profane things as i was furious at his lack of ability to drive. he pulled his bike away from my jeep and rode around me and as he did i threw a punch out the window just coming up short from his helmet. stupid people **** me off! hes lucky i was able to stop in time! they would of been screwed up really bad.
