Well all weekend I wheeled the crap out of it. Didnt get stuck once. Ran through some mud that covered my hood when I dropped into it. Hit some ctazy hill climbes with big ledges everywhere. Now I get to drive five and a half hours back home. I cant even put into words how much I love my xj right now.

Probably woulda been a good first thing to do, but it gave me an excuse to go up to the jy lol. I did trace out the circuit tho beforehand and there's only one power source going through the switch so it if works on high it has to be the switch.. Got me one from the yard that I electrically confirmed works for $6.12

Oh yeah. I also pulled a dead wrongler through two nasty mid door deep mud holes. Without any issues. That one really shocked the **** out of the guy in the wrongler

Pulled the clock spring and cruise control switches from my extra column. A step closer to having CC in my Jeep.

Put on a new battery post to hopefully fix the dead battery symptoms.

Default Great Day, mostly.

The day started sunshine and cold! Jeep Club mystery tour day, a dog friendly event
No breakfast for the dog, water and gravol. Loaded the bin of dog necessities, some clean dry jeep rugs, couple cups coffee, and my youngest daughter riding shotgun (she left her Libby home today).
Pulled the pup back out of the kennel and we were on the road to fun, fun, fun.
Half way to town the dog climbed to high ground on my sub box, hung her butt off the side and stacked a pile of logs. My daughter couldn't stop laughing
After a brief stop and some luberjack cleanup duty, we were on the road again with a vengence, still making good time to the meet up.
Well halfway from there, who knew?? Dogs can projection vomit!
No time left to stop now or we will miss the caravan, just the windows down. Apparently the shotgun seat finds a lot of things much funnier than the drivers position
We make the meet on time, she walks the dog, I mop up the back
Again we hit the road as a club caravan. Arrive 20 min later at conservation trails, no futher surprises from one green but quiet dog.
Turns out a great day, treasure hunt in the woods, lots of laughs, couple prizes, all of us winners.
We did stumble across a Geocache in the woods, signed it, left a token and carried on.
All of us (mostly) better for the experience. The dog was in better shape and only droolled about 2 gallons on the way home. Pup ate a great supper and is off sleeping with her chewy bone
My daughter can't wait for the next months club mystery tour, I can hardly either. First I'll have to wash those carpets again.
Only in a Cherokee can you be delivered and returned from such savoury memories
