Yesterday, I got to DRIVE my Jeep for the first time since I nearly killed myself in a solo bicycle crash last August... Was immediately reminded how hard it still is to turn my head, but also, all the work the ZJ needs.

how was it mounted? the stock bolt for the tail light?
and i figure it will come off at some point but its made from 3/16" angle so itll probably just bend, i made it a little longer then needed incase it does in hopes of not doing too much damage to the hatch

Played with my inverter, gonna use some 3m tape to mount it to the side of the shifter housing. Either that it wait til I get my tools from my job site and screw it in. I'm powering it through the cigarette lighter for now so it shuts off with car and in near future ill wire it to battery with inline fuse.
Also I finally got the adhesive off my fender molding so I can get new adhesive and remount it back

im the same way but when it comes to cb stuff you get better quality sound and range when you do things the way their designed. how well is that thing grounded? and also i did my old whip like that and it usually got bent and twisted on trees and stuff while wheeling, just became a pain.

my buddy needed the extra room more than i did.
