I'm getting back to it tomorrow. I'm tempted to take them all off, but it's my daily driver year round.
Reason #1 why red is a bad color

Hmmmm... oh yeah, added a cup holder. Love my jeep!

Yeah, I took the fender off first, then loosened the bolts through the holes in the hinges, then opened it, set it on a jackstand, and then I loosened them from there with a torx bit and a 1/4 inch end wrench, it'd be a lot easier with a ratcheting wrench.

Went to a concert last night (Fall Massive in DC). Hung my key through a rust hole in the pass floor pan so I could lock my doors and not have to risk losing my keys. Then took a nap in the back on top of two 33s before driving home.

I was test-fitting a cheapie brush guard (the type that installs with 4 holes in the factory bumper). Hey, I had it lying around and wanted to do something with it while I save up for a REAL bumper.

Anyway, come to find out that the whole bumper seems to be pushed in a couple of inches! Guess I have to take it all apart and see if it's just the bumper mounting brackets that are tweaked/busted or if the entire part that goes into the frame rails is damaged, too. Yeah, yeah, an entire new HD bumper would take care of all of that, but I've got a few things on the priority list in front of it. Pics when I get it apart.

chances are they are just bent, so an "adjustment tool" (hammer) may be all ya need but new ones are cheap and easy. there are like 2 or 3 bolts that should be holding bumper to the brackets and another 2 or 3 bolts to hold the bracket itself on..

Bought some Rustoleum Trim and Bumper paint, all the stuff to mask the Jeep off. Then removed the bumper corners. Besides the 5 lbs of mud inside em, and the broken lower bolts, those top bolts that bolt the corner caps to the bumper...SUCK. Planned on painting the corners and bumpers today but I ran out of daylight. OH WELL! More reason to play with her tomorrow. Not that I need reason
