Today I flushed the heater core. I wasn't getting very much heat. Much better now. Also fixed a radiator leak. I am still in the process of power leather seat upgrade

Put a pretty great decal on my rear windows ... adding the name of a fellow Jeeper whom I adored so very much to a Jeep I adore almost as much.

I only cut an inch or so off the output. The yoke itself is 3inches. I didn't cut the yoke. Was i supposed to?

Tried replacing the o-rings in the oil filter adapter. Man, that is a royal beeotch to remove! Tried while the engine was hot, using a pipe to extend the handle, but it just wouldn't budge! Went at it from underneath, since I had it up on a lift. I'll try again another time.

Tonight, I changed the gear oil in the front diff. Everything looks fine in there, no unusual wearing or broken teeth.

Also, I finally found the time to install the sway bar quick disconnects I picked up a couple of weeks ago. No issues installing them, but I don't really like them. Sounds like something's loose and rattling around when I drive. I'll give it another day to see if they settle down. If not, I'll put the old ones back in. I don't normally do heavy duty off-roading anyway. If I do, I can always spend a few minutes disconnecting the regular ones.

Finally, I took care of another issue. Last week, when I installed the factory receiver hitch, I had to disconnect the last hanger for my tailpipe. That bothered me. So tonight, I rigged something up with the next best thing to baling wire. It looks so ghetto, but at least it won't be rattling around on me. This Jeep has enough weird sounds as it is.

Y'know, I saw that at PepBoys, but I wasn't sure how I was going to secure it. Now I know and will be using it when I install my new Borla cat-back exhaust...sometime next year.

Good luck... especially with your wallet. Those are not cheap.

No the yoke is long so it is like sleeving the output shaft.

I looked at it this morning and I'm not quite satisfied with the results, the back looks good bit the front needs to go up at least another inch.... no surfing tomorrow, my xj needs my attention.
