That's how I have mine set up. (tied into the marker lights.)

And those asking where to get them, mine are for an '05 Cummins Ram, they fit the curve on the roof just fine, but we put some RTV in there too, for good measure.

wired up the rear wiper switch and motor, only to discover the jy motor is totally crapped. back to the jy on friday...*sigh*

in other news, i started on the mess of a project that it will be to sand and repaint the roof rack i got from the jy as well. got it off of a grand wagoneer. loved the crome look, but its all peeling off, so repainting and hoping to make it look good again.

Instead of bringing it home. Take two jumper wires with.you.and.hook.it to.car batt. (small gator clips work really well) that way if you power it and it turns its.a.good.one. Just my 2¢ lol

I figured someone would hold me to that. I blame this P.O.S. netbook and it's slow-for-1982-processor.

Almost there.

Edit: http://s402.photobucket.com/albums/p...anitsdan/Jeep/

There's the album for the pictures. If you have any questions just let me know. Yours might be a little different due to a different year XJ and different year cab lights. You could also probably piggy back the wire onto the fuse for them if you wanted to. And the ground I just put on one of the screws that hold on the passenger side sunvisor thing.

You'll need three holes for each, two screws, and one big one for the bulb(unless you got LEDs) Not a very tough project, just make sure your surfaces are clean before you lay down gasket material and you'll be fine! Haven't had them leak yet, and they've been on there since July, and we've had some decent rains since then.

Well, radiator decided to take a crap on me.... Had to tow it to a shop. Not worth trying to drive 15 miles with a big hole in it.
