I installed a Kenwood head unit, a set of Focal speakers up front (SOOO worth the extra money!!!) and some Pioneers in the sound bar. I used Peel $ Seel from Lowes instead of Dynamat on the doors and it sounds amazing! Peel $ Seel was $19 for 6in x 25ft compared to two 10in x10in sheets of Dynamat for $27. Going to work on the bass and amp today!

What are your plans for placement and wiring of the amp and sub? UPS is bringing my speakers and sub today, and my amp shipped yesterday. I'm doing a false floor behind the passenger seat for my amp and putting my sub on the back of the bench, but I haven't considered wiring yet.

I just bought my Jeep about a month ago and it already has the sub enclosure for the cubby space but the guy that had it installed the sub backwards- sticking out towards the interior! He said that it sounded better so I'm going to make sure that it is fully enclosed and turn it around. I will also mount the amp to the back of the seat. One of the wires is loose so when I hit bumps the sub kicks in and out! Annoying!!!

Definitely get that fixed lol. As for the sub enclosure, I don't have one. I ordered a Kicker 10" already boxed cause I got a good deal. There's a company that manufactures an "XJ Sound Pod" that goes in the cubby. I hear it rattles a lot and doesn't sound too hot, but I've never heard one in person. There's also a guy on here who makes them himself to fit a 10" instead of 8" and he gets nothing but good reviews.

They're switchback LED turn signals.

When the park lamps are turned on, the white LEDs are on.
When I hit the turn signal, a set of amber LEDs on the bulb flash like any normal one.
It looks cool and it's legal!

Here's a video of the switchbacks in action.

I started out to just replace the clutch fan, but bought a new thermostat housing and gasket. Since I had the new housing I D&T for 1/8" pipe thread for an aftermarket temperature gauge sending unit. I pulled the old housing and threw it in the trash. The PO must have used half a tube of RTV on the gasket and it still didn't seal. I'm guessing that he used too much and didn't allow it any time to cure. I scraped the surface, cleaned the thermostat and its recess and installed the new stuff.

Literally half of the bolts on the fan clutch were only finger tight. It would have been nice to have another 1/8" clearance between the fan and radiator, but nooooooo.

I still need a fan shroud, and am thinking about where to mount the temperature gauge.

Put a new alternator in, took a drive to check everything, then drove in the woods a little just because I can.

Dropped in a K&N, relocated the AIT sensor to the airbox lid, removed the air valve from the airbox and removed the silencer from the lid if the airbox. Nice and throaty now!
