Had to buy BPE's But IRO says it takes 5 business days to ship? WTF? So Im going to put the front down even tho the shocks arent connected and maybe work on the back? Idk would putting the front down without the shocks hurt something?

BTW I got the front 3" lift coils in. Also got TJ front sway bar links and connected them. I got to get the back done. That includes the new tank.

You will be fine, the springs are what support all of the weight the shocks just dampen the bouncing that you would get if you had just springs

It should be fine. The coils take all of the weight. The shocks are there to smooth out the ride so the coils don't bounce out of control.

Fast cars that had some potential when they were new, but most of the ones you find nowadays have been trashed/riced out by some kid who had no clue what he was doing. Lol

eh, they were slow cars that could be made fast(er).

but reliability was worthless on those things once modded

Checked my fuel pressure today, it's a steady 42 psi at idle with the vacuum hose connected to the regulator but bounces horribly around the 48 psi range when the line is disconnected. The fuel pressure drops to zero psi within a few seconds of shutting off the engine so I need to clamp off some hoses to find out if its the pump, regulator, or injectors. I think I'm going to upgrade to a '97 or newer XJ fuel pump since their oem fuel system runs at 44 to 54 psi.

Reliability was sketchy even when not modded. They're fun cars to drive and I've always liked the look of 'em (I remember when they first debuted at the Chicago Auto Show). However, I got tired of endlessly wrenching on them and sold all mine off.

The baddest was the awd turbo talon in my opinion.. Had a buddy that had 2 down in miami one black and one burgandy.. Things were pretty sick.. But nothing compares to the 84 (my perfered year) mitsubishi starion tsi.. Whew what a machine.. Thing would run circles around the "sports" cars back then..

Installed a new CSF 2 row all metal radiator to combat these AZ temps. So far so good. Down from 235 to 215 on freeway and 195 on surface streets!
