By yourself on the floor, it sucks out loud. With an extra set of hands it's not too bad.

No, if you do an aftermarket bumper you already have to pull all the bolts, its cake

I installed a prerunner bumper at work with 1/4 inch plate steel tie in brackets and had to remove the steering box bolts.... Just a word of advice, your steering wheel won't be straight when you put the steering box back on. Make sure you mess around with the drag link after you're done.

I'm finally getting my axles(3.07's) regeared to 4.10s!!! And gonna buy a new 37 tooth speedo gear to go with the new gears!! after this I will officially be able to run 33's no problem!!!!

All I can say is that I HATE 3.07s....
Most XJ's that don't have the tow package came with 3.55 gearing, the tow package 4.0L XJs (like mine) came with 3.73 gears, and the 4 banger XJs came stock with 4.10s. Does your XJ have the 2.8L or something? I've never heard of 3.07s being factory equipment.

installed my false floor/makeshift bed. it turned out great! lots of room, and rather comfortable. maybe a little bit more cushioning to make it perfect. just need to get some bug netting hooked to the windows and tailgate-to-bumper, so that the wife and I don't get eaten alive by the little bastards

3.07 is the factory gear ratio for the 5 speed trans. not 3.55 like the auto trans

That's why lol.
Isn't the AX15/4.0L combo kind of rare?

Tried to work on getting rid of the awful Cherokee squeak from the dash... have tried everything from tighting all screws/bolts, double sided tape, foam, spray foam, new dash, and glove box, giving the dash a good smack and so on... Going to try tighting the bolts on the engine bay side next, but if that doesn't work, any one else have ANY ideas?
