What did you do to your Cherokee today?
Put in some new spark plugs and wires with a new cap and rotor! That number one cylinder is kind of a pain to get to. Also changed out my egr valve from my parts xj and I don't think it did any good.

I did fluid change in the TC, both Diffs, and trans filter and fluid change.
Both the TC, and front diff hadn't looked like they have ever been done.(front diff cover was sealed with pink RTV) 145,000 miles, and the fluids came out black!
Also replaced a rear axle shaft (Chrysler 8.25) one had a bent flange.....
Trans pan removal was a PITA, but you guys already knew that.
I jacked up the transfer case, and removed the crossmember, and trans mount to get the pan off......after fighting the dipstick tube for about an hour( I won )
I gave her a good look-under while I was under there.
Now I am anxious to get out on the trails.

Let mine sit in the yard while I waited for a call from VIP on their price estimates...
The bad news came on monday, when I took it in to get a front end alignment an a brake check.
Need new steering box and pitman arm. Need new rear brake adjusters (just got all new rear hardware 3 months ago
) and suggest a new steering stabilizer.
And my CEL has been on... which despite my best efforts cannot get any codes.

hit the jackpot today! found a guy on craigslist 20 min from me that has all the stuff I need to finish this stage of the plans I have for my jeep!
picked up a skid row tcase skid from him today to add to the current front and rear I just put on. picking up a brand new in box 8.25 power trax no slip for $300 from him tomorrow along with Dakota brake like extensions 10 bucks and drive a shaft for 8.25.
still debating it but
he also has a freshly powder coated rear Logan's metal bumper $300 that will match the front one i just put on
