I think the dark shadow grey would look sweet if you don't want it to stick out too much. If you don't mind go blue!

I'm going to do a paint job on my 91 because after I'm done fixing it, it will be sporting 4 colors.

My first thought was olive drab green. Then desert tan. But after some thought I'm thinking matte silver....

I like how it looks like bare metal. Its different but doesn't stick out like a sore thumb.

Yeah desert tan was one choice, but if I ever run LEDs anywhere besides running yellow it wouldn't really look good, and DANG how much would a paint change like that matte silver cost? Because I'm sold that's what I want

I love how no matter what color it is, how subtle or stand out they all look great on the xj, I want one in each color above, lol I'm leaning to the matte silver, but if it's too expensive I'm going with the orange!

One that nice would probably cost a lot. I've read that matte and satin finishes can be hard to get show quality.

Are you going to pay to have it sprayed? Or are you going to do it yourself.

If I can get the right price I'll let someone else shoot it, if not I'll do it

I'm not outing for the cheapest manner but I can make it look really good, but I still don't have a professional paint booth or guns but I'm not going to drop big cash on a paint job on this xj at least haha

I can dig it. I'm in the same boat. I don't want it to look awful but at the same time its going to get beat on. I will probably just buy a cheap spray gun and go about it the right way instead of rattle canning it. Worse case scenario, I learn something.

Thats exactly what I would do, because a decent paint job is way better than a great rattle can job, idc what anyone says, I've done rattle cans as dang near perfect as can be and it still lacks the look of a true gun paint job
