Default What color paint? Hmmm...

Have a factory green 2000 xj and am wanting to change the paint, the interior is charcoal, but I want something to stand out without breaking the bank with a candy paint job and remind you it sees branches, rocks, and mud regularly, I haven't liked any yellow ones I've seen, idk any suggestions?

I've always loved the rust orange color. Also love the teal-ish green color usually found on Chevy Tahoes.

Try looking at some Ford colors like Dark Shadow Gray, Or Mineral Gray. They both look good with charcoal interriors, an there were not any colors like that offered on the 97+ XJ's

Dark Shadow Gray

Mineral Gray

Which ever you choose, I would just find a good single stage urethane. Easy for touch ups.

I'm really starting to lean towards orange now! But I also like the shadow ford grey, but would rather see it on my dd where it won't see limbs, too pretty

Absolutely flaming pink would stand out, then after a week you could paint it blue. Do a good prep job, good lookin paint of any kind is from good prep, smooth, clean.
