I know its not a screen. But why not just make it a flat piece if plastic instead of giving it the appearance of being a screen?

I forgot, i dont have the clock. I just have the giant piece of plastic...

I have. Theres nothing there. I dont know if its just because my cherokee didnt come with whatevers supposed to be there or if there truly never was something there and its all aesthetics.

i pulled mine apart. thats where the circuit board is for the clock...its huge. i gutted mine and use it for the switches for my lame push button start.
