So my dealer has a display at the local auto show. So we all get free tix iTools buddy with me and played with the new "cherokee" and like I thought I hate it in stock non trail hawk form. Then we went on their obstacle demo we Waited in line and watched they had two jks on regular and one that was I guess awillys package. Had what looked like BFg km1 on it two trail hawks and a grand. The jk like you would guess was dominating and the grand struggled lots of wheel slip and three wheeling and two wheeling. The trail hawks same issues but not as much as the grand. We get to the front and we get a trail hawk. I think ok let's give it a go. And I'm supprised that it felt ok on the 30* off camber wall it three wheeled a lot on the articulation ramps as can be seen from the ifs and irs then was the 30* climb and the 30* decent and it was very nice. I wouldn't think it would be as good if it was in dirt but was still very impressed for a lifted dart. I'm not a fan of it's moniker but it is most likely going to be capable and it's here to stay. I talked to them about the 9 speed issues and they told me that the company that made the program for the trans software went belly up after completing it so in a rush jeep had to completely re write the software in a short time which lead to the. Issues of not shifting right. But as alight trail rig and a daily driver I do believe the trail hawk is a good vehicle maybe not in the regular form that is all. Ido suggest that y'all go and test drive a trail hawk and see of they will let you take it into dirt.
