Default JK wheels on XJ??

Ive looked and looked for similar threads and no luck.. Never found a answere or solution so ill just ask. A friend of mine gave me his set of 5 JK wheels. I tried fiting them and the bolt pattern was more open. I believe the JK is 5x5 and the XJ is 4.5x5. Correct me if im wrong. But anyways i was wondering how i can fit this rim on my xj. I did find spacer adapters but i was wondering if i can get the fron discs with its bolts from a JK and put them on my XJ so the wheels can fit. Do u guys think jk discs will fit my xj or wat do i have to do to fit the wheels?? Thanks for any help i would gladly apreciate it..

Adaptors are the only way.

You can't just swap the brake disc

Well, they could, but then they would have wheels and brakes that don't fit their vehicle.

I'm curious how they think the rotors attach if they think the bolts are part of the rotor.

I tried out some spacer adapters but i dont like the fact that the wheel is so seperated from the discs =\ idono but the wheels look beast on it. I have seen other XJs around town and they look nice with the JK wheels. I wonder how the fit theirs?

They all used spacers,Or found aftermarket wheels that fit and look like something off a wrangler.

this kids stepping into a whole new world.... a quality spacer has at times proven to be as strong as mounting to the hub. note the word quality, meaning machined from one piece. yes it sticks out more but that's cost of doing business besides when you start getting bigger tires they need to stick out more. and they look better. when you have bigger tires that stick out more you need to lift it up a wee bit. or start doing some trimming. either way it's a viscous circle. now maybe you say you wont do all that now.... but you inevitably will as most posters on this sight can attest to. Anyway have fun on the journey its sure to provide much satisfaction a midst all the swearing and knuckle breaking and swearing.

Well i guess i can try adapters for a while see if i like them. I dont really do much hardcore wheelin or offroad just moderate and occasionally so i guess they will work ok till
I can trade them for other 5x4.5 wheels. I know theres a couple brands out there for adapters. What brands are good and reliable? what do u all recomend?? Any tips or advice i should be aware of when using adapters? What to do and not to do?

Spidertrax. Torque them down properly and check on them after a bit.
