went mudding for the first time and now i know why i live in the Sonora Desert and why i like rock crawlin so much. mud sucks. it was cool until i had to clean it. i took all four wheels off and cleaned EVERYTHING! it was gross. three hours of my life wasted to cleaning mud from, well, everywhere. maybe im just a little paranoid. i dont know how you guys who mud enjoy it so much.
just my 2cents.

well when its all you got, like it is around here, you learn to love it..
my friends and i usually dont got after a big rain bc it really isnt fun when its so muddy you cant get traction to get anywhere, or youre pulling jjeeps out every 5 minutes..
but when we get to a wheeling park with just the right dirt/mud consistancy its a lot of fun...when we can go up steep hills but weve gotta put some effort into it..thats when i love it...
we do have some rocks, but not enough to consider it the main event of the day...we just go down trails and there may be a few rocks to navigate, then its back to the trail

i feel the same way about mud. it destroys bearings/seals and gets into every little crack like your tranny, diffs etc.
i prefer rocks, not so much rock gardens, but rocky trails. we have the canadian shield running through most of our north with lots of rock out croppings and the odd wet/muddy trail.
sure there is times mud cannot be avoided, so we take it as just that. but don't go out looking for mud runs. however, there is lots of it here if you wanna get dirty.
