Fronts can def be heavy, esp if youre tire anyway. Easiest way to pick them up for me is my outer arm through the window to hold the ext handle and my inside arm on the bottom towards the front. Keeps it level, evenly distributed and lets your hip take some of the weight off your arms.

Yea 70lb if you have full power, but all manual is about 45lb, very easy to take on and off

Could try n wire up a two way momentary switch to each door and ditch the power locks completely n just use the toggles on the door panels.

Yeah, I always run my arm through the window and grab the outer handle and then the bottom. They're not bad, but I'd love to find a set of manual doors for the weight difference and not having to worry about power locks/mirrors/windows.

My mpgs went up by 2-3 also. Weight is more important than drag coefficient when it cones to fuel mileage apparently!

On something that has the aerodynamics of a shoebox, weight reduction is just about the only way to gain a few mpg. I get 3-4 better with no doors than with them on

That's because we drive bricks/refrigerator boxes on wheels.

There is nothing aerodynamic about an XJ. Lol

It's so much fun driving doorless in the rain. Definitely wouldn't suggest if your interior is relatively nice though lol
