Default well well well, this sucks

so at a stop sign yesterday making a left and i give it gas to get up to speed up this hill and this happened. Never had noise coming from the back but the break is in right on the wheel bearing. Still need to inspect more.

So since ive had a lot of free time recently im gonna replace both axles, wheel bearings & seals. My passenger drum got destroyed so im seriously contemplating doing a kj disc conversion too.

Forgot to ask, can i save a bunch of time by just buying a scrapped KJ C8.25 and putting it up?

Xj 8.25? You can usually pick them up for around $100 at a jy or off craigslist.

What exactly caused that, wheel bearing locked up or brakes dragging or what?

Holy crap! You don't see a lot of that on the road... let us know what you find out about it. Like if it looks like it has been cracked a while and the last bit just gave way or what...super odd!

Upon removing the oil seal the crack started on a bad part of the wheel bearing and when turning i guess it locked and snapped the axel.
