Make sure you get some good tow points though lol I read your post on the shackle thing that nobody liked. You'd be ok if it was once and a while. I'll admit that I've done that a couple times. Check out some simple tow hooks for the front and keep checking the local yards as the snow is finally starting to melt lol Hope I see you there

My local junkyard just got a Cherokee with front tow points, so I just need to grab them on Saturday. I'm probably gonna grab a hitch for the rear too and get the plug in shackle with D-ring. As for the thread, I told everybody I was an idiot, but it seemed like they didn't understand, oh well, life goes on, haha.

thanks Blue! maybe i'll paint it BLUE in your honor.

nismo5 - the tires are great in the dry, in the snow theyre like some kind of voodoo awesomeness. theyre cheap and good. you got a great deal on those 33s. good luck!
jerseyjeeper - no worries bro
goblazers - the ride is really great, better than stock, and isnt wallowy like some really soft lift kits ive seen. this thing still handles like a car on the road, not like a top-heavy marshmallow. i'd recommend it to anybody, even though its not cheap.

Yup, I'm still going to H&H off of Texas Rd. Right now, there's not one hitch in the entire junkyard. There's 5 XJs, but nothing good. There was one with a hitch, but they smashed it last month before I got a chance to grab it. I'll keep my eyes open, though.

I was like forget it man. I'll buy my own class 4 for that much lol
nicely done!!
2 things:
1. be careful puting pix of your baby with the liscence plate showing. this site is public and if someone wanted to they could find you easily.
2. those tow hooks you installed are ok, but I just saw a thread 2 days ago where a guy ripped 2 gaping holes in his front frame (I know its a unibody, you know what I mean) that would be a biznatch to fix
sick tread on those tires, kinda like my 31" cepeks

thanks!
1: i usually try to black the plate out but my work computer doesnt have any editing software, but thanks for the heads up.
2: i know thos hooks arent perfect, but it's what i can do till a good bumper goes on. and they were carefully trail tested by COSXJFAN before i got them. :-P
and the tires are great btw, just have to see what they do on the trail in a few weeks at Rausch Creek (fingers crossed)
