Default welding gas

hey wondering what type of gas you guys are using to mig weld steel. most importantly i been looking for a tank i dont wanna spend 150 bucks to lease a tank from a local welding supply store where did you guys find yours?

I've always used an argon/Co2 mix. But you can go with 100% Co2 if you wish...it's a little cheaper.

I get mine from a local medical/welding supply store (Norco). But I'm in Oregon.... Small bottle cost $28 exchanged. Not sure what I paid for it initially...that was 14 years ago!
