Default Weird OEM Interior Color AND Dome Light

So I was at a local U-Pull today, and came across an XJ with a weird color scheme. It had agate for most of the plastic side trims, however the over head domes and speaker covers where a very dark gray. And on top of that it had an OEM dome light that I had NEVER seen before. I've rummaged through HUNDREDS of XJ's on my weekly runs over the past coupe years, and never come across this color or this type of dome. Sorry for the size it just how I sent the from my phone:

The last picture shows a normal gray color vent, the very dark gray, and a tan one. Also a note on the dome light, this came from above the driver/passenger, where the 3 light dome one usually is. In the back of this jeep there was the normal trunk light but matching color.

Any info on what years had this? I find it strange I've never come across this color before. The yard usually has stickers that say year and model, but I was in such a hurry I didn't even grab info. I do remember the jeep having a "dummy" cluster.

Oh and it didn't attach with any metal bracket. Just right to the headliner board:

The light may have been from a different Chrysler vehicle, but that's a nice find on the speaker grilles.

Did you score two of the gray ones?

I thought so too, but the way the headliner was cut perfectly for it, it was obviously meant to be there.

Yeah I got the dome light, rear trunk light, and both speaker covers, all in excellent condition.

An odd color for sure, you think the light gray would be a base model color.

I'm just surprised I haven't come across these sooner.

If you end up not using the dark speaker grilles and all the tabs on them are there (not broken), I'll pick them up from you. Worst case scenario, I'll just plasti-dip mine.

I won't be using them. I used vinyl/trim paint a blacked out all the plastic in my interior.

I have them listed online, but they're listed more than you want to pay I'm sure haha, but that's how I make my money.

On that dome light though, the weird one with no buttons, I was helping a friend shop for a pickup and came across a 2000 dodge pickup that had that exact dome light in it haha. I still have never seen anther one in a jeep though.
