Went to order a set of Hella Vision Plus from my 09 Holiday Edition catalog from Quadratec. Noticed that the ad in catalog says 49.99 and when going to site they are $54.99. Got on chat to ask if they's honor the price in the catalog and was told that the manufacturer had raised the price to them so they just pass it on to me. Having spent 30 years as a car dealership owner I know it doesn't quite work that way. Told the fella that I wasn't too happy with their tactics and thought he should honor their catalog price and he told me to take it up with their sales dept tomorrow. Rather than fooling around with them I just Googled the Hellas and ended up getting them from Oconee Off Road for 48.44 INCLUDING shipment. Quadratec was charging 11.99 for shipment for a total of $66.98 !! I realize this isn't much money to bellar about but when a company tries to bait and switch I call "foul". I ordered a few things from them just this week but now all my business will go to Oconee Off Road. I suggest you check the pricing/shipping of Quadratec before ordering anything from them. Strange that a company that large doesn't understand the cost of acquiring a customer only to have that acquired customer go off mad only because of deceptive sales tactics.

 

Due to my experience with them, Quadratec is now a place I go to see what I want then find it cheaper on line. The last item I looked for was $50 less with a google search then what I would have payed going through Quadratec.
