My neighbor has a Wagoneer. I walked over to take measurements of his flares to see if I could fit them on the XJ, just looking at options. It was then I found out the Wagoneer flares are part of the fender, made of steel. I don't see me going to all the trouble to weld them on the XJ, but was wondering if anybody had went to all that trouble?

Would be a lot of work,But there is metal flares for the xj http://www.rustysoffroad.com/rustys-...flares-xj.html https://hooliganoffroadengineering.com/collections/xj and http://www.dirtboundoffroad.com/
I've seen those. I prefer a stock look, and I think that could be accomplished with the Wagoneer flares.

Honestly it would be a huge job with almost no pay off. They really are no wider then the stock xj flares. No one remakes the widetrack fenders in steel so you'd have to find them used which might be fun.bjs offroad does remake the whole front fenders and the rear flares in fiberglass but that won't be cheap and harder to mount.A lot of fsj guys cut their flares down or off and run xj bush wackers or even rear jk flares.
