vibration when braking

for some reason my jeep vibrates when im slowing down coming to a stop. its a 95 xj sport with 4.5 inch lift on 33s. the rear drums are new and the rotors look ok. does anyone has this problem? it rattles my dash and its really annoying someone please help lol thanks alot guys

Turning the rotors will only cause the rotors to warp worse, just replace them along with a new set of pads. Rotors are not too expensive, only about 25 bucks each if you shop around. Turning them will cost about that much and won't fix the problem. Make sure the rear brakes are adjusted properly so that the front brake aren't doing all of the work and over heating the rotors. Always use a torque wrench to tighten the wheels, that will help with keeping the rotors true.

If they are slightly warped and within spec they can be turned, but then they will be thinner and will warp even faster because they can't absorb and dissipate the heat as efficiently as a thicker rotor would.
