Warped rotors? See if a shop that can turn them can tell you if they're straight. Extra heat from the big meats can sometimes be an issue. Just my $0.02....

Turning the rotors will only cause the rotors to warp worse, just replace them along with a new set of pads. Rotors are not too expensive, only about 25 bucks each if you shop around. Turning them will cost about that much and won't fix the problem. Make sure the rear brakes are adjusted properly so that the front brake aren't doing all of the work and over heating the rotors. Always use a torque wrench to tighten the wheels, that will help with keeping the rotors true.

Pretty sure no one will turn a warped rotor. I'd just mentioned that a shop that CAN turn them will let you know if they're true.

If they are slightly warped and within spec they can be turned, but then they will be thinner and will warp even faster because they can't absorb and dissipate the heat as efficiently as a thicker rotor would.
