If yours aren't as shiny as his to start with you should sand.

I ****ing hate tinted tail-lights on anything but a red or yellow rig. I wish I could get rid of my tint without screwing the things up.

go get some strip-eze from lowes or some Auto Zones have it. put a little on a cloth and wipe the tint right off. then wash the light with windex. don't get that strip-eze on anything but the cloth, it will remove paint! wear gloves too.

i've used it multiple times to remove the tint from tinted taillights or amber lights.

My rigs red. And that's why I did it. I'm redoing the tails to just tint the yellow. I've decided thats what looked so odd. The yellow.

You can get the tint off easy with paint thinner. Just dab on paper towel and rub it off... lol

Don't like it? Don't post anything. Simple as that. Anyway I think I'll try just cleaning them good and spraying them. Then If I screw it up I can remove the tint and not have my taillights all scuffed up. Thanks everyone

I'm done posting in this thread. All I asked for was some advice. Thanks to those who actually helped. I don't want this to turn into another thread like the last tint thread
