Even better. I was getting a part for my XJ with my dad and the whole time hes saying I have a Grand. This went on for 5 minutes me telling him that I just have a Cherokee and he refused to believe me. So I dropped all my parts and walked out of the store and pointed to my Cherokee badge on the door and said read this. Does it say Grand anywhere?

At first I was somewhat annoyed by it. Now, I don't let it bother me anymore. Mainly because I understand why they ask it. It's easier for them to just ask it, then for someone to bring a part back, because they needed a part for a "Grand Cherokee" but just told the guy "Cherokee". What REALLY annoys me, is when people list Grand Cherokees as just Cherokee's on Craigslist!

Ill do a 4x4 swap in the future...right now im in the middle of restoring everything and making it a reliable daily driver. I have spent A LOT of time and money on this thing and not far from having every part replaced on it haha. It looks mint on the inside and almost on the outside minus a few flaws.

i don't find it annoying because i'm not talking to a jeeper. and if it helps me get the right part, i'll answer the question.
a lot of grand cherokee owners come in the auto parts store and say that they want a part for a cherokee. the salesman pulls up the part, and it's the wrong one. so, instead of making 2 trips, he just asks the right question.
you get annoyed when he asks you if it's grand, he gets annoyed when they don't tell him that it is.
u wanna have fun with him, just tell him that it is grand. and after he brings the part, just tell him, i'm sorry, i didn't understand what you meant. it's a regular cherokee. if you just wanna be an crappy
