Cell phone with a tow company number on speed dial...nuff said. What good are tools on the side of the road if you don't have any parts?

Alot of us carry spare parts or can find a way to make a trail repair to the part that will last us long enough to get home or at least to the trailhead where somebody can deliver us the proper parts.
Would you want to pay for a tow out of the woods just because of a simple broken wire or busted U-joint?

For trail duty, yes spare parts and tools are a must, but for the daily grind in the city, it's just not needed. I keep nothing but the spare and the usual tire changing tools in my ZJ, I do more on road than off road driving and want to stay as light as I can.
