does the v8 5.2 liter engine run on a chain or a rubber one ?

Timing or Serpentine?

Id assume your talking about the Timing Chain

 

yes yes the timing couldent remeber the word xD is that chain ? in the v8 sounds like a big job if it need too be changed ? xD

 

It's not any worse than replacing the timing chain in a 4.0. But you shouldn't have to worry about the chain for hundreds of thousands of miles, they're not like a rubber belt that usually strips a few teeth off or breaks.

 

aha i see i see well am getting my first jeep cherokee v8 and it has gone 14 500 km dont know how much this is in miles tho but it sounds good it lasts i hate rubber ones O.o

 

Thats about 9000 miles, unles you mean 145,000km, thats 90,000 miles.

Either way, you have a long while before you worry about it.
