Gettin nice pads is sweet but drilled and slotted rotors are the biggest rip off since the sham-wow. They actually take surface braking area away and will eat up your pads faster. You'll prolly never go fast enough or need to brake that much to see any gain from them. If you were racing on circuit tracks maybe... If you want to upgrade brakes, the best way is to look at big brake kits that upgrade the size of the rotor disc, calipers, and pads...but Im not sure if there are any for XJ's...Im jus getting into this Jeep thing. Not tryin to tell you not to do it, just my opinion. Good luck!
