NO. There was never an UP Country version of any Jeep. Up Country is an off-road oriented option package, available on certain models, including XJs.

bummer dude, i got my 96 country but i dont think it has the up country package, no factory skids or nothing, i got the awesome package where my leafs are literally inverted and my rear is about an inch and a half lower than factory. pretty sweet huh?

But "lsd" is for limited slip diff.

cool, thanks trs. man i wish i had the upcountry stuff, it sounds so much better to have. is the country edition just a base model with a little nicer interior and two tone paint or is there more to it?
