I am debating selling my 88 Comanche. I will need a commuter in a few months so it's either I buy some POS car for under $1500 or sell the truck and buy something that is more practical to drive. I would sell it if I got a good price for it, so my question for those of you out there is what would be a fair price? The truck has been practically redone from the ground up...few statistics but way to many to list. It is also rust free. I've heard some say it would be worth 8k and up for the right buyer?

I'd say 7 or 8 grand sounds good.

Tell you what, thats won good looking piece of art. for 1500 you can find a decent commuter, I'd keep the thing and drive a halfway decent car(neon, cavalier, s10?) but if you really have to sell it definitely worth 7200$ id buy that in 1 second if I had the money laying around. Just make sure you REALLY are content with selling it because once Its gone, it's gone, and there WON'T be another just like it to buy later.

Thanks for the comments. I may end up keeping it and buying another car but my only issue is I don't want another project car along with my Cherokee and many cars under 2 grand are always it need of repairs it seems like.

That really is a gem man, I hope our bids all around 8k help you feel great about the value, and persuade you to hang onto it. I've never seen an MJ of that quality.
