Grr..I hate it...
Every Jeeper here is a stuck-up

!
Theres seriously only like 2 maybe 3 other XJ owners that wave back, out of the 1000's of Jeep owners up here.
Anyways, sorry about getting off subject...
Texas seems like it would have more desert than anything,
so I would go with a more Tan based color scheme, JMO
...flat too, of course, never gloss.

thanks fletch. some time this week i hope to finish the camo. i had a water leak somewhere. ended up having to get the sunder and follow the lines because everywhere we could dig to check had no leak. so we found it, of course, under the only large slab of concrete we had, dead middle. so we saw cut the slab and made the repair. city says it was leaking a gallon a minute for hte last 45 days. 400 dollar bill last month and they says its going to be close for this month.
texas actually is not so muc desert as it is hill country. the only desert is out on the western side. central, eastern, and northern texas is all hills and trees. south texas is all plains with brush and grass. those portrayals you see of texas being all sand and cactus is not true. i would imagine its mostly black dirt and clay. for the section where i live though, i will be going with the lighter camo scheme because we are more sand and scrub brush.

orange camo!? as awesome as it is i was trying to figure out where it would be most effective. maybe if u wanted to hide in fire? in a lava flow? the black olive and brown would prob be best for a jeep. maybe in a tiger stripe pattern. that would be shweet!
